Description

The Swiss family business has been operating for over 90 years. After giving up farming, Johann Egger somewhat reluctantly bought a wood and coal business. The "logistics" were still carried out with horses. In 1931, the sons Hans and Emil Egger officially founded the pure logistics service provider of the "Egger Brothers". The first company was based in the Heiligkreuz in St. Gallen. After the end of the 2nd World War, in the mid 50's, the company specialized in heavy and special transport. In the early 2000s, the 3rd generation joined the company. Eleven locations with about 800 employees are maintained in Switzerland today. The fleet is broadly positioned in heavy/special/crane transport. As a special feature, each vehicle has the ETE emblem on the front, which we have reproduced in the model and apply in the same way. To start the series, we have chosen the Mercedes-Benz Actros Streamspace, with the tarpaulins replicated in the print on regular boxes. As another special feature, the trailer is equipped with front doors that allow loading through when coupled.
